Moonlit Pike Hunt: A Memorable Night for The Bloodycatch Team
Tuesday evening, under a full moon, Gerald and I set out for a late-night pike fishing session, driven by the chill in the air and the promise of big catches. The cold wind bit through our jackets, leaving our hands stiff, but we knew that tough conditions often bring the best results.
Our patience paid off quickly when a solid 103 cm pike struck, energizing us for what was to come. Soon, we landed even more impressive pikes—106 cm and two 109 cm giants. Each battle was fierce, with every fish putting up an intense fight, refusing to give up easily.
The true highlight of the night was a massive 119 cm pike, a fish that tested our endurance and skill. The fight was dramatic, with each surge of power felt through the line. When we finally pulled it into the boat, we were left speechless. It was a true trophy catch, and suddenly, the cold and numb fingers didn’t matter anymore.
As we headed back under the moonlit sky, exhausted but filled with adrenaline, Gerald and I reflected on the incredible night. The catches were impressive, but as always, we left with the thought that we could’ve done even better.
